Join MaryAnn Robins (Onondaga Nation) as she teaches this very early traditional method of weaving and making items.

Shucks! There’s more to corn than tasty nibbles. Native corn farmers used the husks too. They made dolls, cordage, mats, masks, moccasins and containers. MaryAnn will show you how to make a twined basket out of this versatile material. Bring scissors, needle nose pliers and a lunch with you.
